Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum – opens April 3rd, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Come in and see the Nova Scotia Museum’s antique clock and watch collection, the Rusty Nail exhibit began by local high school students, the recreated General Store and Classroom, the Children’s activity area,  plus new temporary exhibits coming soon. Tuesdays with Morrie
 If you missed Tuesdays With Morrie last spring, you are in luck!
After a very successful run at CentreStage last year, Tuesdays with Morrie returns to the Valley, this time being present at the Al Whittle Theatre in Wolfville. 
 
Doors open at 6:30pm. Show starts promptly at 7:00pm 
 
Tuesdays with Morrie is the poignant story of journalist Mitch Albom's relationship with his sociology professor, Morrie Schwartz. After seeing his former teacher interviewed on TV, Mitch is reminded of a promise he had made sixteen years earlier to keep in touch with him. The play, based on the book of the same title, shows what Mitch still has to learn.
 
Returning to the production are cast members Bryan Stoddard as Morrie and Mike Butler as Mitch. As well, director Cherie Zinck and lighting man, Ernest Zinck, are back! 
 
Students - $10; Adults - $15 
Special preview Tuesday, March 7 - $5 - all proceeds to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Society of Nova Scotia

Chase the Ace Every Wednesday at the Wolfville Lions Club,36 Elm Ave.Doors open at 5 pm. Draw takes place shortly after 8 pm.Come early to play cards or have a snack at our canteen.


Auxiliary Big Breakfast will resume on Jan. 14 and the second Saturday of every month at the Southwest Hants Fire Station, 1884 Hwy. 14 in Vaughans.  $7 for adults, children 5 - 12, $3.50.  Proceeds to Auxiliary. 8 - 10 pm.


45's card parties will resume at Southwest Hants Fire Hall every Tuesday night starting Jan. 4 at 7 pm. $2 to play, 50\50 draw and loads of fun. Come join us for a lunch and a good time.
